Conclusion:

The highest mean score received for "achieving the specified objective" was given in the Writing category. It had a mean score of 4.05, standard deviation of 0.85, and a median of 4.00. Different Cultures and the Natural World were close behind this with respective means of 3.88 and 3.76. Their standard deviations were 1.01 and 1.02. They both had a median of 4.00.

The highest mean score for "importance of the specified objective" was also given in the Writing category. It had a mean score of 4.12, standard deviation of 0.86, and median of 4.00. Computing fell behind Writing with a mean of 3.79, standard deviation of 0.99, and a median of 4.00.

The highest standard deviation for "achieving the specified objective" was given in was given in the Foreign Language responses. It had a standard deviation of 1.24. It was followed by Performance(1.18) and the Self(1.10)..

In "the importance of the specified objective", the highest standard deviation was in the Performance objective. It had a standard deviation of 1.39. This was followed by Foreign Language(1.34) and Analysis and Interpretation of the Arts(1.33).

Conclusion:

In this correlation matrix, there are several cases to take note of. If these numbers are positively correlated, students felt that they achieved the objective in these categories and that they also achieved the objective of another category. The first of these being the many correlation’s that are evident in the Arts and Culture category. This category is most highly correlated with Analysis and Interpretation of the Arts and the Natural World categories. It is also strongly correlated with Writing, Different Cultures, Performance and Historical Perspectives.

Other objectives that are correlated with at least three other categories are Inquiry, Different Cultures, and Performance.

Conclusion:

The high correlation’s to notice in this matrix are Analysis and Interpretation of the Arts, Arts and Culture, and Performance. Students who felt that Performance was important also tended to feel that Arts and Culture as well as Analysis and Interpretation of the Arts were important to their education. In addition, Arts and Culture is highly correlated with Historical Perspectives and Analysis and Interpretation of the Arts.

Although there were many high correlation’s in this matrix to notice, it is also important to look which columns were negatively correlated with others. The two categories that had negative correlation’s were Abstract Systems and the Natural World. Both of these objectives come from the Math and Science Division(as well as the Computing objective). This shows that students who felt that the Social Sciences and Humanities were important to their education felt that the Math and Science division were not as important, and vise versa.
